MEN TOO CRY

Shedding of tears is not a feminine thing,

Men too cry.

We get moved and shaken,

We get hurt and broken.

You may never be able to tell,

Maybe because we are quick

to bottle up our feelings

Or probably because we do not flood

your timelines with stories that touch.

You may not know but we've got our war rooms,

Rooms where we have sleepless nights,

Battling with our emotions till dawn.

Never equate muscles to emotional strength.

Even with our abs, we crack

And with our pecs, we break.

Weighed down by the day's struggle,

We save our tears till night hours,

Our faithful pillows ever ready to hug our teary faces.
